BTC Registered Instructor and TTL Courses 25th March 2018

A brief report on the BTC courses recently held in Middlesex

UK ITF held a BTC Registered Instructor Course in Middlesex on 25^th March 2018, with instructors gaining or renewing their accreditation.  The course is the NGB minimum requirement, comprising Enhanced DBS certificate, Code of Conduct and Ethics, Insurance, Health and Safety, Safeguarding, Equity and Social Media Policies, together with a First Aid qualification and their BTC Member Organisation’s confirmation of their technical qualification, knowledge and understanding, and personal skills commensurate for the role of a Taekwon-Do instructor.

During the afternoon, additional instructors/club welfare officers joined the group to participate in the BTC/NSPCC Time To Listen course, which is essential for clubs seeking the Sport England Clubmark accreditation and reflects the BTC’s continued maintenance of the NSPCC/CPSU Advanced Standards in Safeguarding and Protecting Children in Sport.
