BTC online courses bring together instructors from different Member Organisations
New and renewing instructors from three BTC Member Organisations attended online courses held on 9th March. Elements covered in the morning included three of the mandatory criteria for BTC Registered Instructor accreditation: Registered Instructor (with Enhanced DBS ID checks) and Basic Safeguarding Awareness courses.
The afternoon session saw the introduction of the new BTC Welfare Officer course (replaces TTL) for Registered Instructors and Club Welfare Officers of clubs seeking the Safeguarding Code in Martial Arts, requiring a deeper understanding of the BTC’s Safeguarding policies and procedures for both Children and Adults in Sport.
