Senior instructor Grandmaster Davies has studied Martial Arts for over 47 years and holds an 9th dan Chung Do Kwan and 8th Dan Kukkiwon making him one of the highest ranks in the UK, he makes regular trips to the World HQ in Korea (Kukkiwon) to meet with other senior masters and to keep updated on the latest regulations and training methods.
Master Davies has been appointed to the Co-operation Committe of the World Taekwondo HQ in Korea and as a Kukkiwon Advisory Board Member for the UK. Grandmaster Davies is also a full member of the World Taekwondo Leaders Forum in which specially invited masters from around the world travel to Korea each year to discuss current methods and educational practices for Taekwondo around the world.
In 2017 Grandmaster Davies travelled to New York to be inducted into the Officail Taekwondo Hall Of Fame.
Bristol Taekwondo School chief instructor Grandmaster Chris Davies has been to Korea many times for training and world events and had meetings with Grand Master Uhm as well as treated to lunch by him on a number of occasions at his favorite restaurant. Additionall he has trained with Chundokwan Grandmasters Park Hae Man and ByeongHun Shin. Grandmaster Chris Davies currently holds and 8th Dan Kukkiwon and 9th Dan Chung Do Kwan.
